Brett’s Drum Lessons offers private, one-on-one drum instruction in Phelan, CA.

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri by appointment only

Lessons are available in 30 minute or 60 minute sessions. 

 

Lessons take place on a weekly basis.

                                                     

PRICING:

• 30 minute session: $20

• 60 minute session: $40

 

Recommended for ages 8 and up. Please contact us if you would like to find out if lessons are a good fit for a younger student.

• Drum sticks

• Workbooks

 

A note about workbooks:

Brett’s Drum Lessons uses a variety of books to best meet the needs and interests of the student. The book(s) required for a student will be recommended by the teacher after an assessment of the age, current abilities, and interests of the student. While we do not have a one-size-fits-all book recommendation, we love to start most students using the Breaking It Down for Kids series by Kevin White, available at amazon and other retailers.

 

The Breaking It Down for Kids series is extremely straightforward and accessible to a wide range of students. It teaches coordination and reading at a comfortable and doable pace. While the series is especially well suited to young students, many preteen and teenage students also appreciate the books for their ability to simply the learning process and build confidence without being overwhelming.
